Job summary

RTX is seeking an Operations Lead for our Phoenix facility to coordinate end-to-end execution from new product introduction to recovery planning and risk mitigation. You will act as the central integrator across functions, providing visibility and disciplined decision-making to enable capacity planning and program reviews.

The role requires translating demand into execution plans, managing cross-functional actions, and driving issue resolution across site and supply chain.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing operations environment.
  • Experience in ERP system.

Responsibilities

  • Translate demand, recovery plans, and priorities into integrated execution plans.
  • Manage cross-functional action tracking, ensuring clear ownership, timing, and closure.
  • Drive issue resolution by coordinating across site, supply chain, and functional teams.
  • Maintain visibility to execution risks, gaps, and recovery progress at the product line level.
  • Support NPI, build readiness, and recovery execution as needed.
  • Provide execution inputs into capacity, LE/EAC, and program reviews.
  • Interface directly with site and working teams to ensure alignment and follow-through.
  • Prioritizes actions and drives resolution within the assigned product line.
  • Escalates issues that require cross product line tradeoffs or exceed authority.
  • Attend program/product reviews.
  • Support Tier meeting governance.
  • Provide recovery plans and execution updates.
  • Delivery, risk, and performance updates.

The Operations Lead is accountable for end-to-end coordination of operational execution, including new product introduction, recovery planning, risk mitigation, and manufacturing readiness.

It serves as the central integrator across functions, driving visibility, root cause resolution, and disciplined decision-making through tiered governance.
Provides execution-based inputs to financial forecasts and capacity plans to enable informed business tradeoffs and commitment alignment

What Will You Do
  • Translate demand, recovery plans, and priorities into integrated execution plans.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
