Wonderful Citrus LLC, North America’s leading integrated grower, shipper and packer of fresh citrus, seeks a production supervisor to direct and control the work process on the production floor. You will inform employees of presort schedules, train new staff, interpret policies, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure timely, safe output.

You’ll maintain production and quality standards, keep the area clean and safe, enforce safety rules and company procedures, apply personnel policies

Job Description

Overview:

Directs and controls the work process. Informs employees of Presort schedules and goals. Trains new employees. Interprets company policies and procedures to employees, works with employees to resolve job problems. Organizes work site, delegates assignments, responsible for scheduling employees and notifying them of their start and quit time, and evaluates work. Makes corrections and follows up to see that instructions have been carried out. Recommends disciplinary action or termination. Keeps supervisor informed of schedules and job progress. Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in their work process. Listen to and work with employee grievances. Enforces and instructs on safety rules and regulations.
