Job summary

Saks OFF 5TH in New York area seeks an Operations Lead to support sales and profit while inspiring a high-performance team. You will oversee back-of-house functions, including Door to Floor processes, price changes, and cashiering support.

You will drive efficiency, provide feedback to management, and train associates on processes and product knowledge. A high school diploma and retail supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with inventory management systems preferred.
• Knowledge of POS cash registers and retail operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior supervisory or team-lead experience in retail.
• Experience merchandising and driving store results is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the selling and service processes; directing the team to achieve sales goals and implement company initiatives.
• Provide feedback to store management on associate performance and concerns.
• Support training of associates on processes, standards, tasks, and product knowledge.
• Manage store opening and closing functions and daily operational tasks.

You Will Be

The Operations Lead is responsible for supporting sales and profit; achieving all company objectives and inspiring a high-performance team. The Operations Lead drives results by overseeing the efficiency and productivity of the back of house functions including Door to Floor process, price changes, and cashiering support.

What You Will Do

• Support the selling and service processes; providing direction to team in achieving sales goals and execution of company initiatives
• Provide feedback to the store’s management team on associate performance and concerns
• Support training of associates on processes, standards, tasks, and product knowledge
• Be responsible for store opening and closing functions and the daily operational functions of the store
• Overseeing the operational store reporting
