Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Las Vegas, NV is offering an Operations Internship for Fall 2026 in the Supply Chain department. Under supervision, you will assist with transportation/logistics services and learn core principles of freight planning and operations.

Great for current students; you’ll work 20–25 hours weekly, gain exposure to DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis, and develop proficiency with MS Office tools while contributing to real-world business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing.
• Able to work 20-25 hours per week during the school semester.
• Interest in transportation and logistics fields.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word is a plus.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program OR graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Junior or Senior level preferred

The expected starting pay range is between $15.00 to $24.50.

This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship.

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
