J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Tyler, Texas is offering a part-time Operations Internship within the Supply Chain department.

Under close supervision, you will assist customers by providing transportation and logistics services and gain exposure to fundamental transportation management principles. The role involves supporting daily tasks such as freight planning, asset utilization, safety and DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution.
• Must be able to work 20–25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Junior or Senior level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.
• Assist with daily operational tasks including freight planning, asset utilization, and safety management.
• Learn DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics analysis.
• Support department operations and perform account-specific duties as required.
