J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. in Aberdeen, MD invites undergraduates or graduates to join our Operations Internship for Fall 2026. Under close supervision, you will assist with transportation/logistics services and gain exposure to daily freight planning and DOT compliance.

This part-time role (20–25 hours/week) offers hands-on experience in planning, asset utilization, driver payroll support, and logistics analysis while you learn industry trends and contribute to Customer Value Delivery.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles.
• Assist with daily operational tasks including planning of freight and asset utilization.
• Support DOT compliance, driver payroll, and logistics management/analysis.
• Participate in Customer Value Delivery and driver supervision activities.
• Handle pertinent account-specific duties as required.
