Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a driven Operations Intern to join our facilities management team in Cambridge, MA. You will support operations, enablement, analytics, BI, and research projects while gaining hands-on experience with leadership and real-work deliverables.

The internship targets individuals finishing a bachelor’s degree or currently enrolled, with 0–2 years of related experience. The program emphasizes data analysis, reporting, and collaboration in a fast-paced CRE environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s degree program in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant work experience, including experience with research, analytics, and/or reporting.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders across different geographical locations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to work well in a team‑oriented environment.
• Working knowledge of online search engines and analytical tools such as SmartSheet, Tableau, and JLL Databases (training will be provided for JLL‑specific tools).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct online searches and thorough research to gather relevant information for operational data analysis and decision‑making processes.
• Develop understanding and assist with the operations and facilities operational equipment (MEP, boilers, HVAC, electrical, etc.).
• Draft requests for information and data to support operational initiatives.
• Complete data input and perform detailed analyses to identify trends, patterns, and key insights.
• Process and organize large amounts of data, information, and research in a structured manner for easy access and future reference.
• Communicate effectively with team members and senior management, providing regular updates on project milestones, findings, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support special projects and assist in achieving project objectives.
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation to effectively communicate findings and recommendations.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working under tight deadlines.
• Stay up‑to‑date on industry trends, market insights, and emerging technologies relevant to the facilities management and operations.
• Support other ad‑hoc duties and responsibilities as necessary.
