Job summary

Event Strategies, Inc. (ESI) in Alexandria, VA is seeking motivated Operations Interns for Fall and Winter 2026. The role supports day-to-day operations, office, warehouse, and project coordination for high-profile live events nationwide.

You will work with Operations, Project Management, Production, Finance, and Administrative teams, gaining hands-on experience in production schedules, expense tracking, and vendor sourcing within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Operations Management, Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, or related field.
• Office, logistics, warehouse, or event experience is a plus but not required.
• Interest in business operations, project management, logistics, or live event production.

Responsibilities

• Assist Chiefs and Managers in daily operations and event execution by creating production schedules and tracking expenses.
• Support pre-event planning with agendas, notes, and action items.
• Create and manage transportation logistics for equipment and personnel to/from sites.
• Maintain collaborative documents and administrative materials for all projects.
• Conduct venue research and vendor sourcing for events.
• Assist Office Manager with office upkeep, supplies, and shipping/receiving.
• Occasionally provide on-site support during events and post-event wrap-up activities.
