Job summary

Performance Food Group's Performance Foodservice division is seeking an Operations Intern in Denver, CO. This internship provides hands-on experience with a Fortune 100 food company and a meaningful project aligned to real business needs.

You'll rotate through warehouse operations, transportation, maintenance, quality, planning, engineering, and supply chain strategy, while helping improve processes and metrics that drive the business.

Qualifications

• Must be located within a 25-mile commuting distance.
• Must be a rising junior or rising senior.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Gain exposure to warehouse operations, maintenance, quality, planning, transportation engineering, and supply chain strategy
• Support quality and food safety activities, including risk assessments, audits, process improvement, and issue management
• Assist with the analysis and development of supply chain metrics and business processes
• Learn how operating models work across Performance Foodservice, Vistar, and Core-Mark
• Present project findings and recommendations to business leaders
