Performance Food Group is seeking an Operations Intern for Florence, SC, to gain hands-on sales and operations experience at a Fortune 100 food company. You will work on a meaningful project, partner with leaders across the organization, and gain exposure to warehouse operations, maintenance, quality, planning, and supply chain strategy.

You will learn how operating models work across Performance Foodservice, Vistar, and Core-Mark while developing processes and metrics to support the business.

Qualifications

• Must be located within commuting distance of 30 miles.
• Rising Junior or Rising Senior.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Our operations teams keep products moving safely and efficiently from the warehouse to the customer. As an Operations Intern, you'll gain exposure across warehouse operations, transportation, maintenance, quality, planning, engineering, and supply chain strategy while helping improve the processes and metrics that support our business.

Internship Details

• Internship Duration: June 2027 - August 2027
• Location: Florence, SC
• Format: In-Person
• Compensation: $22/hour
• Major(s): Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Hospitality & Tourism Management, Engineering, or related field.
