Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree and are in your junior or senior year.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly organized with great attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to learn new software systems (Salesforce, BI tools).
• Interest or experience in claims processing, training, or change management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn about ancillary product offerings and their impact on performance.
• Understand how ancillary products are built, maintained and charged in the POS system.
• Assist with processing Rental Protection Plan (RPP) claims.
• Assist with managing the RPP Salesforce inbox and reporting needs.
• Contribute to testing and assessment of systems and enhancements.
• Use Qlik and Salesforce reporting to track customer damage and analysis.
• Aid in change management and training for claims workflow.
• Support broader ancillary projects and ad hoc requests.

Job Purpose

Opportunity to develop your operations skills by supporting the Herc Rentals Ancillary Revenue and Damage teams.

What you will do

• Learn about ancillary product offerings and how they impact company performance
• Learn how the ancillary products are built, maintained and charged in the company's point of sale system
• Assist with processing Rental Protection Plan (RPP) claims
• Aid in management of the RPP Salesforce inbox including training requests, product questions and reporting needs
• Contribute to the testing and assessment of various systems and enhancements
• Use Qlik and Salesforce reporting to track customer damage and provide damage analysis
• Aid in change management and training the field in claims workflow application
• Support broader ancillary projects and other ad hoc requests

Requirements

• Currently enrolled at a college or university and pursuing a bachelor's degree and are in your Junior or Senior year
• Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Highly organized and strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Aptitude for quickly learning new software systems (e.g., Salesforce, BI tools)
• Interest or experience in claims processing, training, or change management is a plus

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour
