Job summary

Avi Medical GmbH in Munich and Berlin seeks an Operations Intern (all genders) to join our fast-paced, tech-enabled healthcare team. You will assist the Medical Service Director to review staffing, support workflows, SLAs, and communication flows, and help develop improvements using AI where applicable.

You will rotate through key operational focus areas across the company—support growth, launch new services, solve bottlenecks—and build dashboards, automate processes, and recommend better tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in business, economics, information science, health admin or STEM.
• Strong analytical skills and structured thinking with an independent work style.
• Experience in fast-paced environments such as startups or healthcare.
• Professional presence with stakeholders; tactful, mature communication.
• Proficient in German and English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

Your first mission:

• Join our Medical Service Director to deep dive into how we manage staffing today
• Help to review our current support workflows, tools, SLAs, and communication flows
• Help to develop and implement improvements to efficiency, reporting, and automation, making use of AI where applicable
• Align with relevant teams to ensure changes are sustainable and scalable

After that:

• You’ll rotate through key operational focus areas across the company — supporting growth, launching new services, solving bottlenecks
• Get insides in cross-functional projects with product, medical care, tech, and marketing teams
• Build dashboards, automate processes, and recommend better tools or systems
• Help us scale with excellence, not chaos

Who You Are:

• Bachelor Degree in business administration, economics, information science, Health Administration, or STEM or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and independent working style
• First work experience in a startup, consulting, investment banking, comparable fast-paced working environments or in the healthcare industry
• Credible appearance and convincing personality towards all kinds of internal and external stakeholders
• Tactful, mature communication, strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Full working proficiency in German and English
