Job summary

ARCO Design/Build seeks a Project Consultant to analyze operational data, design CAD layouts, and drive improvements across logistics, manufacturing, and material handling. You will travel 60–80% to client sites and translate observations into practical recommendations that deliver measurable value.

You will work with a Project Manager and Director to develop solutions, build client relationships, and support change initiatives while shaping project outcomes with data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field.
• 1–5 years in operations/logistics/manufacturing.
• Experience with operations improvement, slotting, material flow and CAD layouts.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and ability to develop detailed layouts.
• Understanding of lean, 5S, and operational improvement concepts.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 60–80%.
• External consulting experience is a plus.
• Advanced degrees/certifications welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing operational data to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Gathering observational data and translating findings into recommendations.
• Developing process flows and material handling strategies.
• Creating/editing AutoCAD drawings for layouts and site plans.
• Supporting selection of material handling equipment and CAD-based layouts.
• Applying lean and 5S methodologies on projects.
• Developing business cases to support operational changes.
• Communicating recommendations and building client trust.
• Collaborating with project teams, vendors, and support staff.
• Traveling to client/project locations 60–80% of the time.
