Job summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Management Consultant with a specialization in Operations to join their team in Welkom. The role focuses on enhancing client operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and implementing best practices across manufacturing, supply chain, and service industries.

You will work closely with operational leaders to identify key performance drivers, diagnose issues, and co-create solutions that deliver measurable productivity and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in operations consulting, industrial engineering, or supply chain management.
• Strong understanding of lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and process re-engineering.
• Excellent analytical skills with experience in operational data analysis and modeling.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities, especially at the operational level.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client operational processes, supply chains, and manufacturing workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and areas for optimization.
• Design and implement strategies for process improvement, lean manufacturing, and quality management.
• Develop and deploy performance metrics and dashboards to track operational effectiveness.
• Lead client workshops focused on operational excellence, change management, and team productivity.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure the successful integration of new operational procedures and technologies.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to client teams post-implementation to sustain gains.
