Job summary

Steno is seeking an HR Business Partner to join the People team to support Operations across Production, Billing, Provider Operations, Customer Success, and Scheduling. You will partner with leaders from frontline managers to senior executives to align people programs with the pace of the business.

You’ll coach managers through staffing and performance, surface risks early, and translate strategy into practical guidance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years as an HR Business Partner in an operational or frontline workforce.
• Experience coaching managers through headcount planning and performance issues.
• Ability to read people and data to anticipate needs and risks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Operations leaders on workforce and org planning linked to production volume and demand.
• Coach managers on performance conversations and team dynamics.
• Identify people risks early by combining data with field insights.
• Adapt centrally built people programs to Operations' calendar and execute on the ground.
• Handle employee relations with discretion and escalate when needed.
• Represent People in Operations planning discussions with leadership.
• Provide real signals from the field to improve People programs.
