Job summary

Safety Radar, a venture-backed startup, seeks an Operations Specialist to be the connective tissue of our business operations in Denver. You will own finance/partner relationships, manage internal tools, and oversee vendor contracts and grant reporting.

This generalist role blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment. Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in operations, strong finance fundamentals, and a genuine startup mindset.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in operations, business administration, or a similar generalist role.
• Familiar with coordinating finance, procurement, and vendor relations in a startup.
• Able to toggle between high-level strategy and ground-level execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary internal point of contact for outsourced accounting, finance, and tax partners.
• Coordinate information flow between Safety Radar and external finance teams; ensure timely data delivery.
• Review financial reports, budgets, and forecasts; support investor and board reporting.
• Build internal financial models to support leadership decisions.
• Manage internal tools (Slack, Airtable, Google Workspace) and troubleshoot issues.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and oversee office operations, procurement, and equipment.
• Oversee full lifecycle of grant reporting and compliance submissions.
