Job summary

Prentis AI invites a dynamic Member of Operations Staff to join our San Francisco team. This hybrid, full-time role spans recruiting operations, vendor management, and internal tooling, with a focus on moving quickly and turning open-ended problems into reliable operational systems.

You’ll work across the company, building leverage through automation and clear processes, while shaping scalable workflows in a fast-moving AI startup environment.

• Broad generalist with ability to own end-to-end projects.

• Fluency with AI tools to accelerate work.

Responsibilities

• Own operational projects end to end — take something ambiguous, work out what needs to happen, and get it done with minimal oversight.
• Run recruiting operations: source and screen candidates, manage pipelines, keep hiring moving.
• Evaluate and manage vendors and tools — research, compare, recommend, and rollout.
• Build internal systems: SOPs, trackers, and documentation that people actually use.
• Use AI tools to create leverage: automate repetitive work, build agents and workflows.
• Do research and analysis that feeds real decisions — markets, competitors, customers.
• Take on urgent, ill-defined tasks and close them out.
