Job summary

Scholarly Software is seeking a Business Operations Associate to help keep a fast-growing startup running from our Denver office with regular in-person presence. This generalist role spans customer implementation support, events, people operations, and office logistics as you partner with the COO and cross-functional teams.

You’ll configure customer accounts, coordinate conference logistics, assist with hiring onboarding, and help optimize processes for scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in operations, customer success, sales operations, or equivalent.
• Exceptional organization and follow-through; nothing falls through the cracks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly tone.
• Comfortable switching between very different tasks in a single day and prioritizing without much direction.
• Aptitude for learning new software quickly, and comfort working with data in spreadsheets.
• A bias toward ownership.
• Based in the Denver metro area and able to work from our office regularly.

Responsibilities

• Configure customer accounts in the Scholarly platform and adjust review workflows.
• Assist with conference logistics, booth materials, and travel planning.
• Support invoicing, renewals, and vendor coordination.
• Coordinate onboarding logistics and new hire equipment provisioning.
• Keep the Denver office stocked and running; manage supplies and vendor relationships.
• Support AI-enabled process improvements and cross-functional projects.
