Eurest, a division of Compass Group USA, is seeking a passionate, service-driven Operational Floor Manager to join the leadership team at the VIP Delta Sky Club at Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, foodservice, hotels, restaurants, airport lounges, private clubs, corporate dining, or other premium guest-service environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily lounge operations and ensure exceptional guest service.
• Actively engage with guests and resolve service opportunities in real time.
• Ensure food, beverage, cleanliness, and presentation standards are consistently achieved.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
• Provide hands-on leadership across food service, beverage service, guest services, and lounge presentation.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support scheduling, labor management, inventory controls, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Assist with budgeting, expense management, and achieving operational goals.
• Partner with culinary, hospitality, airport, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

Position Summary

The Operational Floor Manager supports the overall success of the Delta Sky Club by leading front-line hospitality teams, driving operational excellence, and delivering a world-class guest experience. This leader serves as a visible presence on the floor, fostering a culture of hospitality, teamwork, and accountability while maintaining Delta, Compass Group, airport, and health department standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily lounge operations and ensure exceptional guest service.
• Actively engage with guests and resolve service opportunities in real time.
• Ensure food, beverage, cleanliness, and presentation standards are consistently achieved.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive, high-performing culture.
• Provide hands‑on leadership across food service, beverage service, guest services, and lounge presentation.
• Monitor operational performance and ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and company standards.
• Support scheduling, labor management, inventory controls, and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Assist with budgeting, expense management, and achieving operational goals.
• Partner with culinary, hospitality, airport, and client stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in hospitality, foodservice, hotels, restaurants, airport lounges, private clubs, corporate dining, or other premium guest-service environments.
• Proven experience coaching and developing teams.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, food safety, presentation, and guest service standards.
• Experience managing labor, inventories, budgets, and operational performance metrics.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification preferred or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Associate degree in Hospitality, Business, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
