Kids for the Future is seeking an Operations Financial Analyst to join the Finance team in New York. This early-career role blends public-company rigor with start-up pace, offering ownership of financial planning, analytics, and business partnering.

You will partner with Finance and Operations leadership to turn data into insight, support planning cycles, and drive faster, better-informed decisions while working in a hybrid model with some travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of professional experience in finance, accounting, or an analytical role (internships considered).
• Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, financial modeling); comfort working with large datasets.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and core accounting principles.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-finance audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, lean-team environment.
• Start-up mindset: comfort with ambiguity, a bias for action, willingness to wear multiple hats, and a drive to learn new tools quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support the annual budget, quarterly forecasts, and long-range planning processes.
• Prepare monthly variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast) with clear commentary on drivers.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate revenue, cost, and margin trends.
• Assist with month-end close activities and management reporting packages.
• Own and maintain KPI dashboards and link operational activity to financial outcomes.
• Respond to ad-hoc requests with timely, well-structured analysis.
