Job summary

Uncommon Schools is seeking a Director of Operations Fellow to train as a future DOO across campuses. This full-time fellowship combines hands-on school operations, mentorship, and reflective practice to prepare leaders who can drive academic and operational excellence.

Fellows participate in professional development, experiential learning, and practical projects, rotating through multiple locations and grade spans.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of work experience in education operations or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in operations leadership (K-12 preferred).
• Experience coaching, leading, and/or managing others.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and refine school operations systems.
• Lead host DOOs and collaborate with Principals to support student achievement.
• Coordinate cross-campus projects and deliverables.
• Provide weekly feedback and coaching to Fellows and support reflective practice.
