Job summary

Uncommon Schools seeks an operations-focused Fellow to prepare for a Director of Operations role. You will work with the Principal to strengthen school operations, design systems, and improve processes across campuses. Expect immersion periods where you act as DOO in place of the host DOO.

You will participate in experiential learning, weekly coaching, and collaborative projects aimed at enabling every student to earn a college degree within a high-performing charter network.

• Lead school operations in partnership with the Principal to support student achievement.
• Design, implement, and refine systems across campuses.
• Facilitate professional development and reflective practice for fellows.
• Serve as DOO in host school during immersion periods (4–6 weeks).
• Collaborate with regional teams to align operations with mission.
