Job summary

Freedom Waterworks is seeking a Vice President of Operations to provide strategic leadership across manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, and logistics. You will drive safety, quality, and profitability while aligning operations with customer commitments and company goals.

You will lead managers, develop performance expectations, and partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession, and improvement initiatives to scale the business.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of senior-level leadership experience with responsibility for managers and multiple operational functions.
• Experience managing operating budgets, labor costs, productivity, financial performance, and capital expenditures.
• Experience leading manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, or industrial operations.
• Experience implementing KPIs, SOPs, and accountability systems.
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement certification preferred.
• Experience in waterworks, pipe fabrication, or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for manufacturing, fabrication, warehouse, logistics, and other operational functions.
• Develop and execute operational strategies to support growth, profitability, and customer service.
• Lead and develop operational managers and department leaders.
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery.
• Oversee budgets, labor costs, expenses, and productivity for operational functions.
• Partner with Finance to evaluate budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures.
• Assess capacity, staffing, equipment, workflow, and facilities needs.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions and continuous improvements.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, controls, and performance expectations.
