Job summary

Qualifications

• 15+ years in manufacturing or operations engineering, with 3–5 years in leadership.
• Experience managing vendor/supplier engineering, quality systems, and production process improvement.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in mixed electromechanical environments.
• Strong expertise in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication across technical and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of the Quality Management System and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee ISO 9001 and 14001 development and other regulatory systems.
• Drive root-cause analysis and CAPA for production and field issues.
• Collaborate with Design and NPI teams to ensure manufacturability and reliability.
• Track key quality metrics such as first-pass yield and defect rates.
• Drive reliability testing and design-for-manufacturing/quality practices.
• Manage production engineering team for line design, process optimization, tooling development.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to increase throughput and reduce waste.
• Support new product launches and scaling at Methuen facility.
• Oversee supplier quality engineering and supplier development.
• Conduct supplier audits and lead corrective actions.
• Align vendor capabilities with product roadmap; support dual-sourcing.
• Build and mentor a cross-functional engineering team.
• Translate strategy into tactical plans to improve quality, cost, delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations.
• Manage staffing plans and capital expenditures for MRO.
• Foster accountability, innovation, sustainability.
