Job summary

Big Belly Solar is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its Methuen, MA operations. This full-time, in-person role focuses on developing and improving manufacturing processes, driving cost reductions, and supporting new product introductions.

You will lead cross-functional projects, mentor teams, and ensure safety and quality standards across assembly lines. You will collaborate with Development Engineering to bring new technologies to production, use Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety adherence across the operation and protect personnel.
• Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and systems.
• Collaborate with Engineering and suppliers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Lead cost-reduction projects using lean tools (Value Stream Mapping, etc.).
• Install and commission new equipment and processes to support NPI.
• Create and maintain manufacturing work instructions and process control plans.
• Provide engineering support to production teams to resolve technical issues and root-cause analysis.
