Job summary

Mosaic, the world's leading integrated producer of phosphate and potash, seeks an Operations Engineering Co-op/Intern for Spring 2027 at Riverview, FL. You will work on sulfuric processing, converter systems, water treatment, and plant operations while gaining hands-on experience in a large industrial facility.

Candidates pursuing a Chemical Engineering degree with a minimum 2.75 GPA and 0-2 years of related experience are invited to apply; housing/relocation can be provided and a 9/80 schedule

Qualifications

Pursuing bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering by Jan 2027 with a 2.75 GPA or higher.
Internship or co-op experience preferred.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

Identify and resolve root causes of issues in sulfuric processing and production systems.
Improve efficiency of converter systems, water treatment, and sulfuric acid plant systems.
Evaluate and enhance performance of unit operations in the Sulfuric Acid department.
Observe a turnaround outage and participate in equipment inspections.
Participate in development and implementation of digital tools for operations.
Communicate with personnel across the organization at multiple levels.
