Job summary

Bunge is seeking Engineering Operations Trainees for an 18-month training program to understand plants and processes across facilities, with a path to full-time roles in engineering, supervision, maintenance, and more. The program emphasizes hands-on learning (70/20/10) and relocation as needed.

Participants will train in safety, operational understanding, and continuous improvement, with potential future placements at various Bunge locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from a four year accredited college or university; Agricultural, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls required.
• 0+ years of experience Demonstrate and promote safety.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be well organized, goal oriented and self-directed.
• Demonstrates mechanical and analytical aptitude with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in standard PC applications.
• Collaborative team player.
• Willingness to relocate for future growth opportunities is required.
• Occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop and lead the Bunge safety culture by learning, understanding and demonstrating safe work habits.
• Fully participate in day-to-day operations of a Bunge facility to understand processes and operations.
• Develop thorough understanding of operational processes.
• Respond to inquiries from supervisors, mentors, or program manager to demonstrate understanding.
• Travel and relocate to other Bunge locations for instructional purposes as needed.
• Assist in evaluating changing operational conditions and communicate findings promptly.
• Support regional continuous improvement efforts and review production data for improvements.
• Assist with projects, drawing reviews, equipment specifications, and training.
