Job summary

Amca is seeking an Operations Engineer to keep its US factories running smoothly, scale production, and manage suppliers. You will build and improve ERP processes, ensure EH&S compliance, and partner with cross-disciplinary teams on data-driven improvements.

This hands-on role spans the production floor, ERP, and supplier interactions. You will own hazardous material handling, training records, and regulator communications, while developing dashboards in Excel/SQL/Python/Power BI to monitor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in operations/manufacturing engineering with on-floor problem solving.
• Experience with OSHA general industry standards and hazardous material handling.
• AS9100 or ITAR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the first call when production stalls and diagnose causes.
• Use structured methods (5 Whys, fishbone, FMEA) to implement lasting fixes.
• Map workflows, identify bottlenecks and redesign processes for higher volume.
• Own EH&S tasks including hazardous material handling and regulator liaison.
