Job summary

Amca is hiring an Operations Engineer to keep its factories running and growing in California. You will solve manufacturing problems on the floor, build scalable processes, and own EH&S compliance, including hazardous material handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, chemical or related engineering field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years as operations/manufacturing engineer with on-floor problem solving.
• Experience using structured root cause analysis methods (5 Whys, fishbone, FMEA).
• Working knowledge of OSHA general industry standards and hazardous material handling.

Responsibilities

• Solve manufacturing problems on the floor and determine root causes.
• Map workflows, identify bottlenecks and redesign processes to scale production and headcount.
• Own and improve ERP data, workflows, and training records for EH&S compliance.
• Create tools and dashboards (Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI) to analyze capacity, cycle time, cost, and output.
