Role: Operations Engineer

You will play a crucial role as part of the Sales team helping to promote the Jacob brand. You will assist with the execution of projects from estimates through closeout. This is a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of major projects while gaining exposure to our impressive portfolio of work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare equipment quotes and plan-and-spec proposals using the full range of manufacturer products represented by Jacco.
• Apply basic psychrometric principles to support accurate HVAC equipment selections.
• Utilize manufacturer-provided selection software to generate pricing, submittals, and engineering documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the Outside Sales Team to deliver complete and timely bids and engineering requests.
• Partner with Engineering Sales, under guidance, to develop and refine equipment selections that meet project requirements.

Requirements

• Attend Manufacturers Training.
• Will work with CRM Software for Quoting, Sales Requests and Project Management.
• Engineering Degree a plus.
• 1 – 2 years in HVAC industry a plus.
• Must have knowledge of CAD software.

Estimated Salary

$70,000 - $90,000 annually, with flexibility based on experience and skills.
