Jacobs is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a background in building HVAC systems to engage with clients, evaluate designs, and advance projects from feasibility through detailed design to full execution.
You will contribute to construction documents, perform design calculations, and communicate complex ideas clearly while applying engineering fundamentals and proactive problem solving on building projects, including life science facilities.

This opening provides the opportunity to engage with our clients, evaluate building HVAC systems, develop concept‑level plans and solutions, and take these through detailed design to provide for full execution of the solution. Demonstrated abilities include a basic understanding of mechanical and HVAC engineering disciplines. Prior experience in consulting and design will be highly regarded.
Provide feasibility studies, construction documents, and construction oversight for building projects. Possess strong communication and problem‑solving skills, a strong grasp of engineering fundamentals, and the confidence to explore innovative solutions.

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $125,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
