Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Engineer to lead complex cross-functional projects and deliver next-generation sortation and distribution solutions. You will own project objectives, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and drive schedules to meet timelines.

The role requires up to 75% travel domestically, with options to work from corporate offices when not traveling. You will engage with engineering reviews, specify system capabilities, and ensure safe, efficient material handling across

Qualifications

Experience with material handling equipment (MHE) and automated material handling systems.
Ability to assess packaging technologies and storage solutions.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

Manage lifecycle of cross-functional projects from planning to hand-off.
Lead engineering reviews and influence architecture and system components.
Set priorities, milestones, and schedules with internal teams and vendors.
Coordinate execution of system installations, qualifications, and problem solving.
Document decisions, risks, and status for leadership updates.
Communicate status and risk mitigation plans clearly to stakeholders.
