Job summary

The Landline Company in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team. This full-time role oversees the round-the-clock dispatch of drivers and monitoring of our vehicles across Colorado and neighboring regions, ensuring on-time service.

You will coordinate driver scheduling, monitor DOT hours, and respond to delays with practical routing and communications with drivers and SOC to maintain a safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Previous ground transportation experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug and criminal background screen.
• Ideal but not required software experience includes Samsara, TASSTA, Sabre, and Netline.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle movements in fleet management system and advise on alternate routes when delays occur.
• Monitor weather and road conditions using online applications and traffic cameras.
• Track driver attendance to ensure trips are covered and contact standby drivers as needed.
• Move drivers/vehicles between trips in response to delays or breakdowns.
• Communicate with drivers as they move in/out of stations using push-to-talk devices.
• Coordinate with SOC on delays or cancellations.
• Assign vehicles for upcoming trips based on maintenance schedules.
• Monitor drivers' hours of service to ensure DOT compliance and coverage for upcoming trips.
• Assist with driver scheduling.
• Shift coverage includes morning, day, and evening hours.
