Job summary

Evans Group is seeking a Director of Operations to lead our Rhode Island and Maine manufacturing sites, driving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. You will unite operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain to execute the strategy and develop a high‑performing team on two sites.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in manufacturing leadership, a Lean mindset, and a track record of multi-site execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or Business (MBA preferred).
10+ years of manufacturing operations experience.
5+ years in multi-site or multi-shift leadership roles.
Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, capacity planning, and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations across RI and ME sites to meet output, quality, and on-time delivery.
Translate company strategy into operational execution plans with clear metrics and accountability.
Standardize best practices, KPIs, and communication cadences across both sites.
Drive site readiness for growth, new product introductions, and future-state expansion.
Demonstrate independent judgment, proactively identifying risks and acting without direction.
