McKinstry Co., LLC is seeking an Operations Director- Mechanical Construction for its New Construction division in Texas. You will develop and manage teams delivering large, complex projects, setting strategies, goals, and objectives.

You will define assignments, be the primary customer contact, and oversee financial reporting and stakeholder communications. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, 10 years PM experience, and five years leading a team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
• Ten years of project management experience in construction.
• Five years managing a team.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
• Proficient with scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera, SureTrak).
• Knowledge of codes, equipment selection procedures, and construction financials.
• Basic estimating skills; knowledge of low voltage systems is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee all project activities, functions, and resource needs.
• Define project assignments for team members.
• Serve as primary customer contact during project implementation.
• Own financial reporting to stakeholders; manage project budgets.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with PM, sales, estimating, accounting, and purchasing.
• Facilitate timely subcontractor payments and client invoicing.
• Prepare pre-construction budgets/estimates and change orders.
• Lead monthly project accounting reviews and ensure on-time project completion.
