Job Description Summary

As a Director, you’ll oversee daily operations and administration, ensuring an outstanding service experience for internal and external sales partners, firms, third-party administrators, producers, and customers. You’ll also ensure compliance with all financial controls, legal, and regulatory guidelines.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Management: Direct department roles, manage daily operations, and guide strategic activities ensuring alignment with company standards and compliance.
  2. Project Oversight: Lead staff participation in major projects, develop process improvements, and enhance service delivery.
  3. Team Development: Foster a coaching culture, develop talent, and handle performance management.
  4. Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Lead education efforts, build relationships, and oversee client interactions.
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations, prepare for audits, and work with Compliance on regulatory issues.
  6. Process and Technology: Oversee process design, development, and upgrades, ensuring regulatory adherence and efficiency.
  7. Expense and Financial Oversight: Manage expenses and develop solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
  8. Operational Oversight: Oversee producer onboarding, compensation processing, and underwriting practices as needed.
Additional Details

Reporting to the Associate Vice President or Vice President, typically managing 3-10 staff members. Requirements include an undergraduate degree in relevant fields, FINRA Series 6 and 26 licenses (may be required), and approximately 10 years of experience in financial services, including supervisory roles.

Normal office environment, occasional travel, exempt role (no overtime eligibility).
