Job Title: Operations Development Manager

Reports To: Budgeting and Operations Development Manager

Direct Reports: Yes

Department: Operations

Location: WPI Home Office – Remote

FLSA Status: Exempt/Salary

Position Status: Regular, Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional overtime and/or weekends

Base Salary Range: Annual $65,000 - $75,000

Travel: 25-50%

Job Summary

The Operations Development Manager role requires a substantial project and people management background, including coaching, development, and property management. Including overseeing the platform systems. This position will involve working with the team, honing their skills, and leading projects. This individual has a broad range of computer proficiencies and is comfortable coaching, analyzing data, developing reporting in Microsoft Excel, and troubleshooting. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. The candidate must be able to travel for various reasons, including leading new property transitions, training, and developing new and current team members and maintaining good communication and relationships with all levels of the organization.

  • Regular attendance following the Company’s Attendance Policy is required for this position
  • Work with ODS team to generate reports, maintain the platform and its systems, facilitate property transitions, and complete ad-hoc projects.
  • Interpret, analyze, and produce various internal reports.
  • Independently identify and communicate insights and action points to internal stakeholders
  • Verify the accuracy of Due Diligence documents and reports before distributing to internal stakeholders
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed
  • Work closely with Senior Director of Operations to strategize and gain approval for new processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Education/Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Education or a similar field preferred
  • High-school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a property management role
  • 1+ years’ experience in a sales or marketing role highly preferred

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, and Outlook with advanced skills in Excel highly preferred
  • SQL Server experience preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of Sitelink and/or CallPotential is highly preferred
  • Relevant experience in matters related to sales, customer service, marketing, training and operations development
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and good organizational skills
  • Ability to understand and convey Company Policies and relevant industry standards
  • Ability to handle all field staff performance improvement matters with confidentiality and timeliness
  • Ability to analyze and configure data for reporting purposes
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers while exercising diplomacy, sound judgment and tact
  • Ability to deal effectively with co-workers, department supervisors and managers, insurance brokers, insurance company representatives, attorneys, and other consultants and/or vendors
  • Ability to work flexible hours depending on various departmental project deadlines and/or Company events and sponsored programs (including a few late evenings and weekend events per year)
