Job summary

Collier County is seeking an Operations Support Specialist II in the Transportation Management Services Department. The role entails performing advanced administrative, technical, and general assistance duties to support Road, Bridge & Stormwater Maintenance operations.

The position coordinates budgeting, payroll, purchasing, reporting, and data entry, while maintaining both automated and manual records, and liaising with other divisions and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required.
• Three years of related experience.
• Candidates without a degree should possess two additional years of related experience.
• Fingerprinting required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and provides operational support to assist in the management of divisional operations, programs, and services.
• Reviews and processes a variety of reports, forms, invoices, contracts and related documents.
• Prepares budget development documents; tracks expenditures and revenues; and prepares budget amendments.
• Maintains division databases and files; enters data and retrieves information.
• Supports hiring managers with vacancies, requisitions, applications, interviews and onboarding.
• Provides information to internal and external callers about division programs and services.
