Job summary

UnityPoint Health in Des Moines, IA is seeking an Operations Data Analyst to drive leadership data insights across clinical, organizational, and financial metrics. You will collect, manage, and analyze data to support strategic decision-making and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable informed actions.

Candidates must have strong Excel and SQL skills and experience in data entry and report writing to support analytical output.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required plus two years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or other analytics related field preferred; and/or six years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results.
• Assist with recognizing and upholding digital security systems to protect delicate information.

• Analyze the results for cross departmental use and provide insight on required actions.
• Work alongside teams within the business to establish business needs.
• Define new data collection and analysis processes

The Operations Data Analyst will be responsible for providing leadership data insights and provide information regarding key clinical, organizational, and financial metrics. The Operations Data Analyst will utilize knowledge of data acquisition, management, analysis, and interpretation to provide actionable insight for the organization. This position will work across departments to collect, manage, and analyze data for strategic decision-making.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

Position can be remote.

Education

• Associates degree required plus two years of relavant experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or other analytics related field preferred; and/or six years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Experience

• Preferred One year financial/data analysis or relevant experience in a health care organization.
• Required to have advanced skills in Excel and SQL.
• Required to have experience in data entry and report writing support.
