Job summary

CarMax in Southlake, TX is seeking a Business Operations Associate to support store operations. You will handle paperwork for sales, auctions, and appraisals, process deposits, and ensure accuracy across departments while maintaining high service standards.

You will train new associates and balance workflow in a fast-paced team environment, with emphasis on confidentiality and compliance. The role requires flexibility for varied schedules.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, interpret, and record data accurately for compliance and reporting.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry systems with intermediate PC skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for customer and team interactions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers and guiding them through paperwork.
• Process and audit paperwork for retail and wholesale sales, including deal jackets and contracts.
• Manage auction and appraisal transactions with accurate titles and funding documentation.
• Handle cash management tasks, including deposits and security procedures.
• Train and mentor new associates and support store operations across departments.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and reconciliation of missing information.
• Follow EH&S requirements and maintain a clean, orderly work area.
