Job summary

Safe Foods is seeking a Crew Manager to lead a production team in our Arkansas plant. You will ensure safety, drive daily targets, and uphold core values while coaching staff.

You will monitor process conditions, document production data, and coordinate with Operations Management to improve efficiency. This role requires hands-on leadership in a 1st shift environment with PPE and strict GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial manufacturing experience.
• 2 years of industrial manufacturing supervisory experience.
• Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for team member safety.
• Oversee daily monitoring: safety/housekeeping, process conditions, regulatory checks.
• Oversee execution of daily production plan from Chem Ops Management.
• Develop the skill set of team members.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards in the facility.
• Assist with packaging, raw materials, and product movements.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

• Be accountable for team member safety.


• Oversee the completion of daily monitoring to include: safety/housekeeping checklists; process control conditions (temperature, pressure, level, etc); regulatory/compliance monitoring (air, water, SQF, GMP); and other monitoring as requested by Management.


• Oversee the execution of the daily production plan as provided by Chem Ops Management.


• Develop the skill set of team members.


• Ensure high housekeeping standards for production facility(s) are maintained.


• Assist warehouse personnel with packaging, raw material, and product movements.


• Other duties as assigned.

YOUR MUST HAVES:

• 18 years of age or older.


• High school Diploma or General Education Diploma (“GED”).


• 2 years of industrial manufacturing experience.

WHAT WE PREFER YOU HAVE:

• 2 years of industrial manufacturing supervisory experience

OUR ENVIRONMENT:

This position is based in our manufacturing plant environment. Expected exposure to wet, hot, cold, various shifts, requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Constant(role requires thisactivity more than 66% of the time (5.5+ hrs/day)
Use of fingers and hands. Lift/Carry 10 lbs or less & push/pull 12 lbs or less.

Frequently(role requires this activity from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5+ hrs/day)
Stand, climb stairs, walk, sit, reach outward, squat/kneel, bend. Lift/Carry 11-50 lbs & push/pull 13-40 lbs.

Occasional(role requires this activity up to 33% of the time (0 - 2.5+ hrs/day)
Climb & crawl. Lift/Carry 51+ lbs & push/pull 41-100 lbs.
