Job summary

Fortrex, a leader in food safety solutions, seeks a dedicated team member for on-site sanitation roles in Buffalo, NY. You will follow sanitation procedures, lift equipment, wear PPE, and support management in daily sanitation duties.

Ideal candidates are 18+, able to take direction, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in extreme temperatures. This permanent, full-time position offers competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with leads and management to ensure sanitation procedures are followed.
• Frequently lift hoses, equipment, and chemical containers.
• Wear employer-specified PPE.
• Exposure to chemicals (with PPE required for the task).
• All night standing, lifting, and crouching for periods at a time.
• Other duties as assigned.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job duties include:

• Exposure to chemicals (with PPE required for the task).
