Job summary

The Boring Company in Nashville, TN is seeking an Operations Coordinator to drive fast-paced operational execution. You will build and maintain detailed schedules, allocate resources, and own timelines end-to-end in a high-intensity environment.

You will collaborate with engineering and field teams, communicate progress clearly, and continually identify process improvements to move projects faster while maintaining quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3+ years in operations, logistics, scheduling, or a similar execution-heavy role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to work with leaders and frontline teams.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple workstreams.
• Proven problem-solver who identifies issues early and drives solutions.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling & Planning: Build and maintain detailed operational schedules and labor plans. Coordinate with engineering and business operations leaders. Own timelines and deliverables end-to-end.
• Resource Management: Allocate people, equipment, and materials effectively. Track and adjust resource allocation as priorities shift.
• Risk & Problem Solving: Identify potential conflicts or delays early and drive practical solutions. Build contingency plans and inform stakeholders.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work with engineering and field teams to align on priorities and deadlines. Provide clear, regular progress updates.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze operational data, surface trends, and push process improvements to move faster and more efficiently.
