Job summary

Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio Inc. seeks an Operations Coordinator to lead the Twinkle Nights Drive-Thru Holiday light show on-site during operating hours. This contract, seasonal role oversees volunteers and coordinates nightly operations.

You will manage volunteers, traffic, box office, and other duties, perform opening and closing procedures, and assist with recruitment, training, and scheduling. The role ensures a welcoming, safe environment for guests and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old.
• Organized and dependable.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Comfortable outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Access to reliable transportation.
• Available for most event nights including Fri–Sun evenings from late Nov to early Jan.

Family Resource Center is seeking a dependable and organized Operations Coordinator to lead our annual Twinkle Nights Drive-Thru Holiday light show. This is contractual, seasonal position serves as the on-site leader during Twinkle Nights operating hours, overseeing volunteers, and coordinating nightly operations. If you’d like to play an important role in a fun holiday tradition that serves as the signature fundraiser for local mental health services, we’d love to hear from you.

As Twinkle Nights Operations Coordinator, your primary responsibilities include:

• Serve as the primary on-site contact during nights when the show is open
• Lead a team of volunteers each night, including teams assigned to traffic, box office, and general event duties
• Perform nightly opening and closing procedures
• Assist with volunteer recruitment, training, and scheduling
• Provide a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for volunteers and guests

To be considered for this role, you must be:

• At least 18 years of age
• Organized and dependable
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable being outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Able to access reliable transportation
• Available for the majority of event nights including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings from late November to early January.

Previous experience in customer service, event coordination, hospitality, recreation, education, or nonprofit work is preferred.
