Job summary

Satellite Shelters, Inc. is seeking an Operations Coordinator to assist branch management with daily operations, product development, service, and quality control.

Qualifications

  • Requires high school diploma and 1+ year admin experience or equivalent.
  • Experience on an assembly or construction site is a plus.
  • Demonstrates collaboration, thoroughness and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily yard activities of workers and drivers.
  • Utilize MS Office Suite and NAV for records and tasks.
  • Manage stock, check-in/out, confirm dates.
  • Manage service requests from start to finish.
  • Schedule deliveries, pickups, and set-ups.
  • Keep scheduling activities on board updated in real-time.
  • Communicate with customers prior to delivery and pickups.
  • Perform duties in line with company policies to meet objectives.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues.
  • Monitor stock assignments to branches.
  • Issue and track vendor purchase orders.
  • Monitor purchasing and expenses for yard/equipment maintenance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The operations coordinator assists branch management with daily operations. This position assists in coordinating operations, product development, service, and quality. Additionally, this position assists the branch manager/operations manager with monitoring safety information, scheduling, reporting, and other safety-related activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in the coordination of daily yard activities of workers and drivers.
  • Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and NAV.
  • Manage stock, check-in/out, confirm dates.
  • Manage service requests from start to finish.
  • Manage the scheduling of deliveries, pickups, and set-ups.
  • Keep scheduling activities on board updated in real-time.
  • Communicate with customers prior to delivery & pickups.
  • Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  • Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster, aid, and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
  • Monitor oversight of stock assignment to branches.
  • Issue and track vendor purchase orders
  • Assist in the monitoring of purchasing and expenses associated with the maintenance of the yard and equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
  • This position requires a high school diploma and 1+ year of administrative assistant experience or equivalent combination of work and educational experience
  • Experience working on an assembly or construction site a plus.

  • Shown ability to collaborate with other team members to accomplish tasks.
