Wyoming Outdoor Council in Lander, WY is seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our business operations team. This full-time salaried, non-exempt role works closely with the business operations manager, finance director, and staff to support conservation and fundraising efforts.
The position handles campus needs, office logistics, donations data entry, accounts payable support, and event coordination, while upholding our values of equity, belonging, and service to Wyoming's environment.
Reports to: Business Operations Manager. Full‑time, salaried, non‑exempt. Start date: late‑July. Location: Lander, WY. Salary range: $41,000 – $45,000 annually. Competitive benefits and time‑off package.
The Wyoming Outdoor Council is the state’s oldest independent conservation organization. We advocate for Wyoming’s environment and communities using multiple knowledge systems and evidence‑based practices to ensure comprehensive and long‑term solutions.
You will be a member of our operations team, supporting the overall conservation and fundraising work at the Outdoor Council. You will work closely with the business operations manager, finance director, and other staff.
Experience working on Macs and within Google Workspace. Comfortable learning new systems and working with standard office technology. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience troubleshooting straightforward maintenance issues. Proficiency with database entry and data consistency. Ability to maintain confidentiality of donor information. Background in general accounting tasks is a plus. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Willingness to pitch in where needed, manage multiple projects, and ask for support when needed. Commitment to the mission of the Wyoming Outdoor Council and its equity and belonging work.

Regularly required to sit, use hands, write, and use a keyboard. Frequently required to stand and walk throughout the campus. Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, shovel snow, and use an electric snowblower. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position is occasionally required to work outside of regular business hours as needed. The work environment involves infrequent exposure to disagreeable elements and minor physical exertion and/or strain.
