Job summary

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is hiring an Operations Coordinator for Cardiac, Pulmonary, and Vascular Rehab. This is a full-time day shift role, Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm, providing daily operational support and administrative assistance to the Rehab Leader.

You will manage office activities, procurement, and financial tasks while ensuring compliance with Sentara Health systems and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent required.
• Two years of clerical/administrative experience required.
• Prior experience in medical front office or customer service preferred.
• Experience with health insurance plans, insurance verification, EMR, medical terminology, registration, scheduling or third-party payers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational support to the rehab department and administrative support to the Leader.
• Manage office activities, procurement, and business/financial tasks.
• Support patient care delivery in a multi-disciplinary environment with strong communication.
• Ensure compliance with Sentara Health systems, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
