Summary
Oversees and performs administrative and inventory functions at the distribution facility. Duties include waiving orders, assigning or batching orders to MH departments or leads, printing receiving PO check-in lists, printing inbound and outbound labels, cycle counts, item adjustments, collecting and tracking MH performance, ticket corrections, reman, and closing out trucks.
Responsibilities
- Perform the administrative operational functions of a distribution center by printing/waiving work to the floor in a timely manner to meet efficiency expectations.
- Ensure that all necessary labels are ready for consumption in the shipping/receiving process.
- Check inventory accuracy at bin location level for both SKU and count.
- Ensure that all shipping and receiving documents are completed and contain expected sign-offs.
- Track completed work at the individual level to provide OM or Supervisors with the information needed for pace and urgency.
- Walk off parts considered “not in location” or damaged prior to IA completion.
- May oversee the completion of projects/assignments and train support level employees (no direct reports).
- Under direct supervision, exercise independent limited judgment.
- Perform basic tasks and functions for the professional field of work, working in compliance with established procedures and protocols.
- Workload is focused heavily on warehouse floor connectivity; the workspace is expected to be located where the work is. Dress code will match warehouse conditions.
Qualifications
- 1 year of admin, inventory control, and/or warehouse operations experience (preferred).
- Excellent planning, organization, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to identify key issues and evaluate facts.
- Background in warehouse departments such as receiving, put away, and picking.
- Knowledgeable of safety expectations within a warehouse environment.
- Experienced in inventory control, material stock/storage, and cycle counts.
- Ability to build consensus, communicate effectively across the organization, and show diplomacy.
Salary & Benefits
Salary: $24.00/hr – $28.00/hr.
