Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Operations Co-Op in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico, for 2027. Under a mentor, you will be assigned to a department to execute projects that improve process efficiencies, reduce cycle time, cost, and enhance overall quality of execution.

You will support Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, prepare documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Eligibility requires at least two years of study in engineering, bilingual fluency, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year is required.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
• Incumbent must be enrolled in an accredited college or university, be in good academic standing and have completed at least two years of studies.
• Requires fluency in Spanish and English; must have excellent ability to write in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Visio and Minitab knowledge is highly desirable.
• Ability to assess issues and opportunities, establish priorities, and act with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Executes projects that increase process efficiencies, reduce cycle time, cost, and improve overall quality of execution within assigned department using project management methodologies (I.E. FPX).
• M akes significant improvements in the assigned areas by using process excellence methodologies (Lean/Six Sigma).
• Prepares standard reports/documentation to communicate results.
