Who We Need

The Operations Clerk plays a crucial role in Shinesty’s order fulfillment, inventory management, and inbound/wholesale logistics. You’ll keep product moving accurately and keep the floor running smoothly — all while being the hardest-working, most bad-ass, chillest person under the roof.

What You’ll Do

Replenish inventory and maintain accurate stock locations
Frequently count and verify product accuracy
Move product physically and electronically between locations with precision
Accurately identify and receive incoming shipments; assist receiving with inbound logistics as needed
Perform data entry and maintain accurate records for receiving, wholesale, and inventory transactions in NetSuite (e.g. purchase orders, transfer orders, sales orders, adjustments)
Track and log incoming and outgoing supplies and materials
Maintain a clean, organized work environment
Guide and coach fellow team members as needed
Communicate proactively and clearly across shifts and departments
Build growing proficiency in NetSuite as you take on more responsibility

Support other tasks as assigned by supervisors or managers

Maintain 99.99% order fulfillment accuracy through strong task management
Stay calm and set the tone during high-stress moments or the unexpected
Spot bottlenecks and team needs before they become problems
Use data to prioritize and hit daily, weekly, and monthly goals
Solve problems proactively, with confidence
Give clear, timely, constructive feedback that helps teammates improve
Notice shifts in team morale or performance and address them

Nice to Have’s

High school diploma or equivalent
6+ months of warehouse or production experience
6+ months of experience with a warehouse management system (WMS) and handheld scanning technology
Forklift certification a plus, but not required — we’ll train and certify you in-house

Physical Demands

Extended periods of standing and walking throughout the shift
Regular use of hands to finger, handle, or feel; ability to reach with hands and arms
Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 49 lbs
Occasional climbing, balancing, bending, or kneeling
Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Ability to operate a forklift or similar equipment for extended periods during a shift

Requirements & Skill Sets

Proficient in Excel and comfortable with data entry/recordkeeping

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional distribution environment. It is located at the Shinesty Distribution Center in Denver, CO. If you are accepted to this position, you will join the ranks of excellent Colorado companies like Ball Aerospace, Coors, and American Furniture Warehouse. The job requires an individual to routinely use standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and desks, as well as standard warehouse equipment such as tablets, scanners, hand dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. This position may require the flexibility to work diverse schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This position will require flexibility during peak retail season, which falls from October through January.
